We have received so many compliments on the District Web site and we appreciate the work that Howie has done in designing it. One person in the "higher ups" of GWRRA stated that it was the best web site by far that he has seen! Recently we heard from another person that they loved the new site and that it was so easy to navigate. The challenge with copying and pasting from the site is an easy fix just by learning a few new tricks of the trade as detailed below. If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call. What appears to be graphic and text on this page is an optical confusion. It is actually all graphics that will not allow you to copy text from.
2. Near the top of the page you will see “Click HERE to download the newsletter”… Click on the hyperlink (HERE)
That will take you quickly to the bottom of the page where the Newsletter Archive is posted. These are the full PDF versions of current and past newsletters.
3. Click on the desired month/year. A new browser window will spawn and will display the full PDF version of the newsletter.
4. Assuming you already have Adobe Reader to read/print the document (available for download on this same page), Use the ‘select tool’ to highlight the text you want to copy. Once you selected/highlighted the text you want to copy, hold down your CTRL and C keys simultaneously and it will copy the copy the text to your clipboard (MAC instructions vary slightly)
5. Open or start a new document where you would like to the text to be included. Hold down your CTRL and V keys simultaneously and it will paste the text to the new document. You may then need to remove the line breaks at the end of each line to clean up the text for your document.
